Built in 1893, the cog railway found worldwide fame in the legendary musical film “The Sound of Music”, when the von Trapp children spent the day in the region of St. Wolfgang.

The Three Kings Epiphany Trail
Following the trail of the Three Kings up the Schafberg Mountain: along the tracks of the Schafberg Cog Railway in St. Wolfgang, this trail tells the story of the Three Wise Men’s search for baby Jesus, creating an inspiring experience for people old and young.
