Advent as it used to be: Lake Wolfgangsee Advent
Since 2003, the Lake Wolfgangsee Advent has been delighting visitors young and old with passionately designed markets, extraordinary decorations and an enchantingly festive atmosphere. For its 20th anniversary, once again, the Lake Wolfgangsee Advent in the three villages of St. Gilgen, St. Wolfgang and Strobl heralds the festive Advent season.
The Lake Wolfgangsee Boat Service takes its passengers to all three Christmas markets, and on the Zwölferhorn and Schafberg mountains visitors can relish exceptionally beautiful mountain experiences.

St. Gilgen
The delightful Baroque interpretations of the St. Nicholas story on the church square or the traditional bellringers colourfully and elegantly depict different scenes of the Advent season
